Shader exploration and mixture of volume colors

Created a tool for drawing burning lines and generating sparks on VFX shots. Adding little smoke fuse trails to improve the fx integration.


50-dollar bills were modeled and correctly recreated for use in a vellum simulation. Using high-quality textures produced a realistic appearance. Australian and New Zealand bills

Research and development in the weight, size, and feel of mass of 50-dollar bills


Initial smoke simulations utilizing the axiom solver in Houdini enabled the rapid testing of several sorts of smoke plumes. Confetti was a previous look evolution during the creative process.



The scenario was 3D solved using photogrammetry and camera tracking, which allowed for precise placement of smoke explosions in Z space for smooth VFX integration.
